These log cabin rectangles have added interest with pieced centers – trees or flowers. A wide sashing adds interest with stars at the junctions. Soft flannels make these generous lap quilts very cuddly. Of course, they can be made with non-flannel. There are three sizes, 47" x 59", 64" x 82" and 85" x 109". There are also two half-size options – a tablerunner and wall quilt, each with trees or flowers. See pages 9-14 for yardage, dimensions and diagrams. They are template free and rotary cut.

CrossRoads #307
A simple 9-patch splits in four directions and stars are created. Open areas are the perfect setting for flower appliqués, just like a garden. There are six flower appliqués – you select your favorite(s). There are many project options - tablerunner 14" x 42", octagon tabletopper 27" diameter, wall quilt 38" a, lap quilt 58" x 72" and bed quilt 90" x 104". Pieced blocks are rotary cut and template free. Appliqué uses your favorite technique.

Hugs & Kisses #306
This is a very simple design that relies entirely on Folded Corners and fat quarters. Bold, contrast color groups are layered upon each other to create the dramatic X’s and O’s, or hugs & kisses – perfect quilts for loved ones, small and large. There are two lap sizes, 40" x 52" and 52" x 64". For a different look, there is a Raggedy option in which raw edges are created on the right side of the quilt. After laundering, there is a cozy, soft look to the quilt. Flannel is recommended for the Raggedy option. This quilt is rotary cut and template free. Other Flannel Flinders patterns available are #207, #210, #214, #218, #223, #226 and #305.

HeartStrings #305
Sweet hearts make a wonderful baby quilt. They can even be made with chenille, a great combination with flannel! If hearts aren’t your preference, there are also star and tree options. These are used in an asymmetrical block with bars on two sides. The cornerstones form short chains when the quilt is laid out. This quilt is template free and rotary cut. Background and heart/star/tree yardage is given but may be scrapped by purchasing fat quarters to total yardage given. Other Flannel Flinders patterns available are #207, #210, #214, #218, #223 and #226.
